# Launch a token

> Choose a currency, fill in the details, and open a market.

1. Open [windrose.market](https://windrose.market) and connect your wallet.
2. Open **Create a token** and choose a currency.
3. Add a name, symbol, description, and image.
4. Optionally buy some tokens in the same transaction.
5. Confirm the launch.

Your token starts on a bonding curve priced in the currency you chose. Share the token page so others can trade it.

The currency is fixed after launch. The curve closes when it reaches its target and then moves to a locked Uniswap v4 pool.
